You can use GVB Flex for all your trips by bus, tram and metro throughout the Netherlands and with the variants Start Flex, Flex and Extra Flex, you can also choose the option ‘Travel by train’. So with Easy Flex, you cannot select the option for ‘Travel by train’.
You can combine GVB Flex with NS Flex on a single OV-chipkaart. This allows you to benefit from both GVB and NS. You can also combine GVB Flex with credit on your card or the GVB bicycle supplement.
You cannot combine GVB Flex on a single OV-chipkaart with regional subscriptions such as Randstad Noord Zone. When placing your online order, we check straight away to see whether it is possible to combine GVB Flex with any existing products on your OV-chipkaart.

And you still have a discount on the journeys you make with GVB. You can also use GVB Flex for all your journeys by bus, tram and metro throughout the Netherlands and with the variants Start Flex, Flex and Extra Flex, you can also opt for the option ‘Travel by train’.

Yes, you can, depending on the product terms and conditions. Some annual season tickets can be stopped early (such as an Altijd Korting or Randstad Noord Zone annual season ticket). With a monthly season ticket, you may of course switch to GVB Flex as soon as your season ticket has expired.
Important information: if you want to switch early from a Randstad Noord Zone annual season ticket to GVB Flex, you will lose your last 2 free months. In that case, it may be cheaper only to switch when your Randstad Noord Zone annual season ticket expires.
